Questions, answered plainly.
Is the open-source version limited?
No. Open source is the whole platform — the same codebase, all ten services, no feature gates. There is no "community edition".
What models can I use?
Any OpenAI-compatible endpoint: vLLM or Ollama on your own GPUs, or any compatible hosted provider. The gateway handles routing, fallback, budgets, and caching in front of it.
Can Eparch run fully offline?
Yes. The air-gap install uses an offline image bundle and runs with zero external egress — every dependency lives inside your network.
How is multi-tenancy enforced?
At the database layer. Data-plane services connect to Postgres as a non-superuser role with row-level security applied to every query.
What does Enterprise actually buy?
Engineering time and accountability, not features: private architecture briefings, deployment reviews for regulated and air-gapped environments, priority fixes, and a direct line to the founders.
How do I get support as an open-source user?
GitHub issues, and we mean it — the founders triage the tracker. Security reports follow the security policy in the repo.
